These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ForgeEdu, including Lesson Forge and any related document-generation, template, export, or Google-integrated workflows made available through the platform. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of Service
ForgeEdu provides digital tools that help users organize instructional information, generate working drafts, apply templates, and produce education-related documents. Features may include AI-assisted drafting, template management, file exports, and integration with third-party services such as Google Workspace.
2. Eligibility and Account Access
You are responsible for maintaining access to your own account and for ensuring that any information used to sign in or connect third-party services is accurate and authorized. If you access the service on behalf of a school, organization, or team, you are responsible for ensuring you have authority to do so.
3. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the materials, prompts, templates, and content you submit to the platform. You should ensure that your use of the service complies with applicable school policies, copyright obligations, curriculum requirements, confidentiality expectations, and any student-data handling rules relevant to your environment.
4. AI-Generated Content
The platform may provide AI-generated drafts, structure suggestions, or document outputs for convenience and workflow acceleration. These outputs are provided as working materials and should be reviewed, edited, and validated by the user before final use, distribution, or institutional submission.
5. Templates, Exports, and Integrations
ForgeEdu may allow you to upload templates, connect external services, or export files into your own Google Drive or related platforms. You remain responsible for your external accounts, the permissions you grant, the files stored in those accounts, and the consequences of sharing or distributing generated documents.
6. Intellectual Property and Rights
ForgeEdu retains rights in the platform itself, including its software, workflows, interface, and internal systems, except where rights are expressly granted otherwise. You retain responsibility for ensuring that the materials you upload and the way you use generated outputs do not infringe the rights of third parties.
7. Service Availability
The service may change over time. Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended, or removed as the product evolves. ForgeEdu does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent support for any specific feature, model, template, or integration.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. ForgeEdu does not warrant that outputs will be complete, accurate, compliant with every institutional requirement, or suitable for every teaching, administrative, or assessment context without user review.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForgeEdu will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-interruption losses arising from use of the platform, generated content, connected third-party services, account access issues, or document handling decisions made by users.
10. Termination and Access Changes
ForgeEdu may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for platform security, misuse prevention, legal compliance, operational maintenance, or product changes. Users may stop using the service at any time and may revoke connected service permissions through their own account settings.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform after revised Terms become effective may be treated as acceptance of the updated version.
